CenterQuest Asia held its Opening Residency Retreat on January 20, 2023, at the Mirador Jesuit Villa in Baguio City. This event marked the beginning of the International School of Spiritual Direction (SSD) program being field piloted in an Asian context.
The residency retreat, which lasted a week, was attended by 67 participants from different countries in Asia and North America.
CenterQuest (CQ) is an ecumenical hub for the study and practice of Christian spirituality, established in 2013. The SSD training program was launched in 2015 and had since been running with five successful cohorts. Its CenterQuest Asia-SSD pilot program is a unique opportunity for individuals to deepen their spiritual practices and gain skills in spiritual direction.
