Mirador stands as a heritage site that witnesses to sustainable care for land and resources. Its additional development as an eco-spirituality park in 2020 has preserved more green spaces dotted by natural limestone rock formations around the area. The planting of more native tree/plant species, the development of more gardens and mindful use of the environment echo the Church’s contemporary call in “Laudato Si” to care for our common home through ecological conversion. Thus, sustainability in Mirador becomes a way of honoring both ancestral landscapes and future generations.
